I chose the 'genius, evil' Beethoven as my villainy character.
Because of his deafness, he hated everyone who can hear. Thus, his superb brilliance in music can change the world! Beethoven put a curse on his newly written masterpiece which wouldgradually damage everyone's hearing; making them completely deaf. Moreover, his music can hypnotize listeners and they'll crave for even more of his pieces. He also hated Mozart, so he had a smart plan to tear him down.
My friends and I shared ideas and gave each other opinions. We've also practised our act in front of each other to feel less nervous about it; then we peer assessed each other.
I have learned to be less nervous when speaking in front of the class especially when there's a video camera recording my every move :) I have used techniques in my speech such as alliteration and repetition. Also, I've begun the speech differently.
I had done a few mistakes in my speech such as skipping a few sentences and stuttering. In the future, this could help when speaking in front of an audience. It has improved my confidence in giving speeches and I hope to do better next time.
It's excellent that you feel that giving this speech has helped you improve your confidence. Your audience certainly couldn't tell that you missed parts out, and practising with your peers is a great technique to use.
